Trenton Gause, MD

Trenton M. Gause, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon with Tri Rivers Musculoskeletal Centers and a member of its hand and upper extremity team. He obtained his medical degree and orthopaedic training at the College of Medicine and Hershey Medical Center, both at Penn State. He conducted a spine fellowship in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center, and completed additional training in upper extremity surgery and sports medicine. Dr. Gause has written numerous articles on orthopaedic surgery techniques.

In 1996, Dr. Gause joined Pittsburgh-based Tri Rivers Surgical Associates, now Tri Rivers Musculoskeletal Centers. Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Gause is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, the Pennsylvania Medical Society and Allegheny County Medical Society. He performs shoulder surgery, including reverse shoulder replacement, rotator cuff repair and shoulder stabilization, as well as elbow and wrist arthroscopy, including carpal tunnel release.
