Tariq Nayfeh, MD, PhD, FAAOS, is a caring board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with a specialty in joint replacements.
As a joint replacement specialist, Dr. Nayfeh is experienced in all ranges of joint replacement, from simple minimally invasive replacements to the most complex revisions. He is proficient in the use of a wide variety of tools and techniques, with many at his disposal. His repertoire includes partial and total robotic knee replacements, as well as custom (restor3d) and cementless knee replacements. He also performs anterior replacement and custom (restor3d) hip replacements.
In 2006, Dr. Nayfeh was among the first surgeons in the Baltimore-Washington area to successfully perform an anterior hip replacement. Since then, he has gone on to perform thousands more. Additionally, he is also one of the first in the region to regularly perform outpatient joint replacements.
