Juan Agudelo, MD

He completed dual residencies in Orthopedic Surgery at the University Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín, Colombia (2000), and at the University of Colorado in Denver (2010). Additionally, he completed a Research Fellowship at Denver Health Medical Center and a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at the University of Colorado in Denver.

Dr. Agudelo’s current practice focuses on Direct Anterior Hip Replacement, minimally invasive hip and knee surgery, and robotic-assisted hip/knee replacement.

He is actively involved in training the next generation of orthopedic surgeons, serving as an instructor in the University of Miami/HCA JFK Hospital Orthopedic Residency Program.

Dr. Agudelo is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the Florida Orthopedic Society. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
