Hani Mayassi, DO

Dr. Mayassi is originally from New Jersey and completed his undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University. He then earned his medical degree from the University of New England in Maine. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at WellSpan York Hospital and rotated at hospital systems including MedStar Health, Sinai LifeBridge Health, and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He completed his fellowship training in Complex Adult Reconstruction at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Mayassi specializes in the treatment of complex hip and knee conditions. In addition to being well experienced in primary and revision hip replacement and knee replacement, he regularly utilizes advanced technology and incorporates robotic-assisted surgical techniques into his practice. He has several peer-reviewed publications related to surgical protocol advancement and surgical technique. He is also interested and well-trained in shoulder arthroplasty and fracture management, especially as it pertains to periprosthetic fracture. Dr. Mayassi is a board-eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon and is an active member of multiple local and national orthopaedic professional societies.
