He specializes in Sports Medicine and Joint replacement surgery. He is the only orthopaedic surgeon in Pocatello offering hip arthroscopy to treat femoral acetabular impingement. He has trained in direct anterior total hip replacement surgery with experts at Dartmouth, in Denver Colorado and in Paris, France; and was the first to offer this procedure in Pocatello.
