| Dr. Knecht has been with HMG since 2023. He obtained his medical doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Columbus, OH. Following this, he pursued his orthopaedic surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, OH. He then underwent specialized training in hip and knee joint reconstruction surgery at Stanford University in Redwood City, CA, during his fellowship. Reflecting on his experience, Dr. Knecht expressed, “Having the privilege to study at Stanford University and train alongside globally renowned experts in joint replacement surgery has been an invaluable opportunity. I am eager to leverage the exceptional education and skills I gained and apply them here in Eastern Tennessee.” In his practice, Dr. Knecht delivers comprehensive orthopaedic care, with a particular focus on hip and knee replacement surgery. He offers a range of techniques including anterior and posterior approaches for hip replacement, as well as partial and total knee replacements. |
