Alan Tuckman, MD

Voted #1 Foot and Ankle Practice in Lancaster Newspaper’s Readers’ Choice Awards! Dr. Tuckman comes to Lancaster from New York. He received his M.D. degree from the SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse, where he also completed his internship and residency. Dr. Tuckman completed his orthopedic surgery training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and received his foot and ankle fellowship training at The Emory Clinic in Atlanta. Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, Dr. Tuckman is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society, the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society and the American Medical Association. Dr. Tuckman’s special interests are in disorders of the foot and ankle as well as total ankle replacement. Dr. Tuckman also has a special interest in dance injuries and has been an orthopedic consultant for the Atlanta Ballet and the Berks Ballet.
