| As the owner and founder of Ohio Foot and Ankle Center, board-certified podiatrist Aaron Chokan, DPM, FACFAS, FACCWS, welcomes new and existing patients to the practice. With three state-of-the-art offices in Canton, Uniontown, and Stow, Ohio, patients have access to centrally located clinics.
After completing his undergraduate degree at the College of Wooster in Ohio, Dr. Chokan was accepted into podiatry school. He went on to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now part of Kent State University) in Independence. Dr. Chokan then finished a two-year postsurgical residency, serving as chief resident, through University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. He’s currently board certified through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery®. He has performed numerous foot and ankle surgical procedures. Dr. Chokan is also a fellow of two prestigious podiatric organizations: the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists. As a natural educator, Dr. Chokan serves on the teaching faculty at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center Podiatric Surgical Residency program in Cleveland, Ohio. He also gives his office time to train residents of the Family Practice Residency program through Akron City Hospital in Ohio. |
