M. Scott True, M.D., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement, sports medicine, fracture care, and knee arthroscopy at Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine

Dr. True earned his undergraduate degree from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, and his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, where he also completed his internship and residency.

He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedics and is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Mid-America Orthopaedic Association, Ohio Orthopaedic Society, Cincinnati Orthopaedic Society, American Medical Association, Ohio State Medical Society and the Butler County Medical Society.

His areas of interest include total knee replacement, total hip replacement including anterior approach, sports-related injuries, fracture care in adults and children, and arthroscopic treatment of the knee.
