Jeffrey Hartzell, MD

An accomplished orthopedic surgeon, Jeffrey L. Hartzell, M.D., specializes in sports medicine and shoulder replacement at Ortho NorthEast. His extensive experience working with a number of orthopaedic practices in the country makes him a talented member of the SportONE team.

Dr. Hartzell cares for many high school athletes throughout northern Indiana. He also has prevalent experience with athletes throughout Major League Baseball, the National Football League, the PGA and numerous universities such as the University of Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Troy and Arkansas State.

Jeffrey is a member of multiple affiliations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He has given multiple lectures on topics related to sports medicine throughout Indiana, the United States and internationally.

A Wakarusa, Indiana, native, Dr. Hartzell enjoys spending time with his friends and family, especially his four wonderful children.
