| Dr. Stephen Frania has been treating foot and ankle disorders for 25+ years. He is also the Fellowship Director of the prestigious Foot & Ankle Specialists of Ohio Reconstructive Surgery and Deformity Correction Fellowship. He has utilized the fellowship to spread his knowledge and experience to young surgeons for over ten years, and surgeons trained by Dr. Frania now help patients nationwide. Dr. Frania obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1993 from the Kent State University of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed his residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. He is Board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot surgery, reconstructive rearfoot surgery and ankle surgery.Dr. Frania is also a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and he is a founding board member of the American Microsurgical and Orthoplastic Society (AMOS). He has collaborated with AMOS colleagues to help develop some of the latest techniques and protocols for peripheral nerve surgery, muscle flaps, and deformity correction. Dr. Frania practices at our Mentor, Parma, and Westlake locations. |
