Dr. Mark H. Moss is a native Texan born and raised in Dallas. After graduating cum laude from Texas A&M University, he pursued his medical training in Podiatric Medicine at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH.
Following his four years in Ohio, Dr. Moss completed his surgical training in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency and Fellowship Program. He was trained on conservative management and surgical reconstruction of foot and ankle pathology. This included treatment of minor forefoot pathology to complex foot and ankle deformity and trauma. Dr. Mark H. Moss treats a wide spectrum of patients ranging from pediatrics to adult foot and ankle disorders. Some of the more common problems that Dr. Moss treats are bunions, heel pain, ankle sprains and fractures, diabetic wounds, fractures of the foot and ankle, flatfeet, and sports related injuries.
Dr. Moss is a fellow of the of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and active member of the American and Texas Podiatric Medical Associations. He is currently Board Certified by American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Moss remains active in residency training and currently is a surgical instructor and Director of Continuing Medical Education for the Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency and Fellowship Program.
Recently, Dr. Mark H. Moss published a review in the April 2004 edition of Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery regarding the surgical fusion of joints secondary to degenerative arthritis. He is also published on the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons website.
Dr. Mark H. Moss is married to his wife, Lynette and is father to their triplets; Elise, Elle, and Elaina. In addition to his many professional responsibilities, Dr. Moss finds time to enjoy his special interests in golf, hunting, and fly-fishing.
