Dr. Wallis is one of the board-certified orthopaedic surgeons practicing at Orthopaedic Institute of Henderson, located in Henderson, Nevada. He specializes in hip, knee, and shoulder replacement, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, and upper and lower extremity fracture care. His special interests include complex and revision hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacement, minimally invasive anterior hip replacement, and outpatient joint replacement.
After completing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in 2007, Dr. Wallis earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In 2019 Dr. Wallis completed a fellowship in advanced joint reconstruction at the renowned Joint Implant Surgeons group in New Albany, Ohio, where he trained under the tutelage of Drs. Adolph Lombardi Jr and Keith Berend, both of whom are world-renowned joint replacement surgeons. During his training, Dr. Wallis was involved in orthopaedic research, resulting in the publication of numerous book chapters and scholarly articles. He has also given many formal presentations within the orthopedic community. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
Dr. Wallis is dedicated to exploring all treatment options with his patients, both surgical and non-surgical. If surgery is required, Dr. Wallis utilizes multi-modal pain protocols and enhanced recovery pathways to help patients recuperate quickly with as little pain as possible.
Though he has lived most of his life in the Midwest, Dr. Wallis now calls Henderson his home, together with his wife and four children. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, hiking, cycling, and spending time with his growing family.
