A Flint, Michigan native, Dr. Tarakji joined OrthoMichigan in 2021 after his post-education orthopedic surgery residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center. He specializes in hand and upper extremity injuries and recently completed his orthopedic fellowship in hand and wrist surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Dr. Tarakji received both his undergraduate degree and medical degree at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. When he isn’t working, he enjoys hiking, basketball, football, reading, and traveling. He also has a special interest in global health.
